Landed in the new pension scheme
Your new pension plan has gone into effect. In MyKLMPension, you can view the current status of your pension under the new plan. At the end of June 2026, you will receive a letter detailing your pension amounts following the final transition. This year, we are combining these amounts with the Uniform Pension Statement (UPO). That is why, this year, you will receive a one-time Uniform Pension Statement that includes amounts from both the old and the new plans.

Timeline
The letter with the initial estimate of your pension under the new pension scheme will be available for you in MijnKLMPensioen at the end of November.
We will convert the pensions from the current pension scheme to the new pension scheme. The Mijn planner and Mijn pensioen pages will be temporarily unavailable in MijnKLMPensioen. It may also take a little longer to process any changes or choices.
In January, pensioners will receive the same pension as in December. We have applied the new tax rules and incorporated a possible indexation. At the end of January, the pension statement will be available in MijnKLMPensioen.
The new pension scheme has been incorporated into MijnKLMPensioen, and Mijn planner and Mijn pensioen are available again.
In February, pensioners will receive their first pension payment according to the new pension scheme, including a back payment for January. At the end of February, the pension statement will be available in MijnKLMPensioen.
You will receive the letter with the amounts after the final conversion of your pension. We can finalise your pension in the new pension scheme once the December coverage ratio is known, your details as at 1 January 2026 have been determined and all calculations have been made.
What about KHS and KFA?
KLM Health Services (KHS) and KLM Flight Academy (KFA) will also have a new pension scheme. KLM Flight Academy (KFA) now follows KLM’s pension scheme and has agreed with the Works Council to also implement the agreements in KLM's transition plan. KLM Health Services (KHS) has agreed with the employee representation to follow KLM's pension scheme. From 1 January 2026, there will therefore be one pension scheme for both KLM and KHS and KFA. The changes required by the new law and the agreements reached in the employment conditions negotiations between KLM and the unions apply to KHS in almost all respects.
