We are Stichting Algemeen Pensioenfonds KLM. More than 12,000 employees of KLM accrue pension with us and more than 11,000 receive a monthly pension. We generally communicate in Dutch. We are, however, aware that not all our participants understand Dutch. Therefore we have translated the key information about your pension scheme in English.
First impression of your pension under the new pension plan
We will start the new pension scheme on January 1. You will receive a letter from us at the end of November. You can find this in MijnKLMPensioen. The letter will give you a first impression of your pension under the new pension scheme. You can read how much pension you will receive in the future, compared to now. It also states what has been arranged for your partner.
The letter will have an attachment with more amounts. For example, an estimate of your pension if we take rising prices (purchasing power) into account. Or what your pension could be if things go well or badly.
The amounts in the letter are provisional because they are calculated based on your data and the financial situation of the pension fund on July 1, 2025. We have not included any changes in your situation after this date in the provisional amounts. The decision on possible indexation at the end of 2025 is also not included in this letter with provisional amounts. Your pension will be finalized in the second quarter of 2026, and you will receive a new letter with the amounts for the final conversion of your pension. We will include these changes in this letter.
Your pension scheme
You accrue a mandatory pension with us. You do this through your employer KLM. Each employer has its own scheme. The Pension 1-2-3 explains what you do and do not receive in our pension scheme. The Pension 1-2-3 does not contain any personal information about your pension.
With the Pension comparison tool, you can compare our pension scheme with your previous or possible future pension scheme. This is useful information if you are thinking about a value transfer to our pension fund or thinking about changing jobs.

You can find information about your own pension in MijnKLMPensioen. If you want to see your accrued pension as per 1 January of this year, have a look at your Uniform Pension Statement. If you want to see the actual amount of pension you accrued to this date, and see the effects of possible pension choices, have a look at the Pension planner.
